"Receptionists not readily available"

Talking to the surgery on the phone, the receiptionists are pleasant to talk to but visit the surgery and it's an entirely different experience. The receptionists hide in the back office and don't want to talk to patients if they can avoid doing so in person. Pressing the bell to bring them into the main reception area seems frowned upon.

Learn from your doctors: a smile and a welcome wouldn't go amiss.
