TO ALL STAFF, PAST N PRESSENT AT MARY ROSE COURT. THIS IS TO ALL YOU STAFF AT ATTWOOED CLOSE,ESSEX ROAD IN BASINGSTOKE, HAMPSHIRE.

Mary Rose Court Hostel. Who Is There For Teens Under 19 Years Old,

You guys (staff in MRC) gave me a chance in life, OVER 17 years ago.

Which was to get my life back on track. When no one wanted me.

IN CLUDEDING MY FAMILY,

when i needed help the most,

i was having a nervouse breakedown at the age of 17 years old coursed by child abuse,

You guys were there for me. Only You Guys helped keep me on the srtaight n narrow. You helped to teached me how to pay my bills and how to live and cook and suervive on a very low income.

If it wasnt for you guys who help me to learn to stand on my own two own feet, I dont know were id be now, my name is Lily Barr. In 1992 i was known as Lilian Jean Blackburn or Lilian Jean Rowan.

You guys tock me in,you told me if i kept my head down,my head clean. Id be in with a good chance to have my very own bedsite in no time. You were right.

I started off in an bedroom downstairs and shared the kitchen. Then after so many months you guys moved me to an upatairs bed room and shared kitchen.

Then shortly after i was moved to my very own bedsit.

I was over the moon and in my eliment at the age of 18 years which was not long after my 18th birthday,

Then in the morning on 14th january 1994, the day of my 19th birthday, Bruce the maneger of MRC, Brought up to my bedsit, room 13, (which was above the staff sleeping courters for over night shift work.) A A4 size brown envelope. From Basingstoke and Deane Houseing Department at the Council.

In that enverlope was my 1st own proper council home of my own,

ok. it was a tiny bedsit, smaller than what i had at the hostel, but it was mine, all mine, at 113, saint micheals road, south ham, basingstoke.

Then from there, i began my new life,
