While having too stay in Basingstoke for business, I found this to be the best place to stay. The staff were great, treating you like family. The Hotel was perfectly situated to get to all of the local restaurants, pubs and shopping. Food at the hotel was also very good. I always had a room with adeguite accomidations. Stayed at three other hotels in Basingstoke and the Red Lion was the only one I returned to many times..
