"Not fair to cats"

I took my little cat there the year before last as I was off to Spain for a week. She was in a glorified cupboard with a shelf and no toys or stimulation for a whole week and no daylight coming in. I felt dreadful when I saw it. Mind you, the premises were clean - no complaint on that, but its like putting a lion into a cage.

This year, I have found somewhere else with a large run and a separate heated sleeping compartment, plus they can see daylight. If my cats have to have the inconvenience of being away from home, I want it to be as nice as it can be for them..
