I agree with the review from 22nd December. Laarsens' clientele are mainly loud, parochial football types. Same applies to the barmen, most of whom so obviously lack people skills and a customer service ethos. Xmas eve, early evening, was a case in point, with a young barman on duty who is totally unsuited to bar work and had a really bad attitude. Avoid the place unless they have a band on, which brings in a more pleasant clientele and more female bar staff on duty..
